Dear Parent/Carer,
Thank you to all those who gave up their time to contribute to the school's Inspection last week, by replying to surveys and coming along to parent meetings. It will be several weeks before the Inspection Report is published as it now needs to go through a moderation process, but we will keep you updated when the report is released.
Please note, with regard to staffing, we bid farewell to Mr Iain Morrison on Friday. The French vacancy is currently advertised and closing today, so we will be interviewing as soon as possible. Mr Morrison's post will be covered on supply this week.
We also welcome back Mr Neil Mulhern to work today on a phased return. Please note, Ms Leeparis will continue to teach all classes this week.
As mentioned in last week's bulletin, we will be holding an Information evening for the Primary 6/7 Residential trip tomorrow, Tuesday 25th March. This will take place in the Primary school at 7pm.
We communicated in last week's bulletin regarding menu changes which primarily affected Secondary pupils - please note, the menu has been updated again and will be sent to you in due course.
In addition to SQA assessments for Music and Admin this week, N5 & Higher English pupils will also sit a second prelim this week - this should provide a good measure of progress since January.
Durachdan,
Andy Murray
Headteacher

Sir E Scott S4-6 Study Support Programme
Term 3
We would highly recommend that pupils attend as many of these study support classes as possible, as it will assist with consolidation of existing course work and lead to improvements in pupils overall academic achievement and progress at school.
As part of the study support programme, we will provide all pupils attending
the after-school sessions with a healthy snack.
Please note that we are not able to arrange transport for pupils returning home. However, if transportation is a barrier to your child attending then please do get in touch with Mr Johnson to discuss this matter further.
